Our Story
At Applause International, we are committed to the growth and development of aspiring performers through a focus on education, training, and mentorship. Founded by Kimberly Myers, an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, our mission is to guide individuals through every stage of their artistic journey—providing tools, knowledge, and inspiration to help them excel.

Our programs emphasize the importance of building a well-rounded artist, blending technical skills with personal development. Through hands-on workshops led by industry professionals, participants receive specialized training in acting, singing, dancing, and modeling. We believe in nurturing creativity, discipline, and resilience—qualities essential for long-term success in the performing arts.

The ARTS Showcase serves as the culmination of this journey, offering participants the chance to showcase their hard work in a professional setting. With guidance from The Dream Team, our participants gain insights into the industry while developing confidence and discipline that extend beyond the stage.

At Applause International, we recognize the alarming statistics surrounding LGBTQ+ youth, with studies showing that LGBTQ+ teens are more than four times as likely to attempt suicide compared to their peers. These numbers are a stark reminder of the need for inclusive, supportive environments.

The ARTS Showcase has saved countless lives over the years by providing a safe, welcoming space where young artists can express themselves freely, build confidence, and feel accepted for who they are.
