Audition Expectations

1. ACTING and VOICE ACTING is ENCOURAGED for EVERYONE: Be prepared to read one of the short scripts below (experienced actors can bring their own one minute monologue). Memorization is not required. You can also choose to sing, dance, and model.

2. SINGERS: One-minute without music (clean lyrics). Acoustic Guitar / Ukulele is allowed.

3. DANCERS: One-minute routine, bring your own music (clean lyrics) and device. We prefer dancers with formal training.

4. MODELS: You will pose for a few pictures. We are evaluating in all areas of modeling (i.e., catalog, print, commercial, plus-size, children, teen, adults – runway, high fashion runway, specialty modeling, etc.)

5. IMPORTANT: No profanity or suggestive material. This is a family friendly environment.

6. PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME: Preferably 10 – 15 minutes early for check-in. Your arrival time feeds into our decisions for callbacks.

7. AUDITIONS ARE LIMITED, SO DO NOT BRING FRIENDS: Families are limited to parents /guardians. So unless they plan to audition with you, we ask you to respect the space.  If space allows - we WILL allow you a support person.

8. NO SMALL CHILDREN OR STROLLERS: We kindly ask that any babies, toddlers, or small children wait with a trusted adult outside of the audition room if they need to come along.

9. AUDITIONS START AT AGE 6 THROUGH ADULT.

10. ABSOLUTELY ZERO CELL PHONE USE IS ALLOWED DURING AUDITIONS OR CALLBACKS: All participants WILL be on video, recorded by us - for our EVALUATION ONLY.

11. PLEASE BRING VALID I.D: You (and any parents of those under 18) may be asked to show proof of identity.

12. Expect two hours: Though we cannot guarantee a specific time frame, our average audition process lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours. Our younger children do audition first (so it may not be this long for anyone under 18.) For auditions held during the week, this allows us to respect the weeknight for school the next day, so please plan accordingly!

13. Come READY, prepared! Things to consider bringing: Bring a writing utensil of some sort, commercial script or monologue you plan to use, lyrics for your song choices if you are singing, and/or a speaker that is already connected to your device,  if you are dancing!

We provide a safe place for EVERYONE, so come ready to connect, learn, and begin your journey for The ARTS! We are so excited to meet you!
